A besboke ceramic mixing palette slowly made in reverence, by me for you x
 
This palette features five mixing wells and a large mixing area.
Measuring roughly 16cm by 12cm, this palette is a companion for artists who find beauty in the tools of their trade.  
 
Embrace its minor imperfections as charming reminders of its handmade origin.
 
This is one of the few that were seemingly 'damaged' when drying in the dark. A peculiar thing happened where my grandfather's walking stick fell onto 6 palettes, cracking their form. Three of these were so shattered that I had to let them go, however 3 showed potential for renewal.  I began to see this as a collaboration with my grandpa and I, even know he has now passed. Inspired by the traditional Japanese way of mending ceramics, Kintsugi, these cracks have been mended and tenderly embellished with gold acrylic. Still waterproof and fully functional, yet carries a story of resilience.
 
To wholeheartedly love yourself, is to see the beauty in your brokenness.
